Nothing beats sitting down for a delicious 3 course meal after a morning of shopping around central London, right? Well, thanks to Bond & Brook in Fenwick, thats exactly what I did.
After shopping around Bond Street, my 2 best friends and I decided to stop for lunch at the fashionable Bond & Brook on the second floor of the popular Fenwick department store. The interior of the restaurant is just as fashion based as the department store it is situated in. One of the walls is a mini library of fashion books and giant sized Chanel No.5 bottles while the others host stunning images of vintage fashion.
Once we were seated, out waitress {who was very lovely} ran through the menu with us and filled us in on the day’s specials. We decided to go all out and order everything from starters to main to dessert {shopping does take a lot out of you, doesn’t it?}. The food was absolutely delicious! The starters were mouth watering and the meats from our main dishes were cooked to perfection. This was definitely what we needed after a morning of running around from one changing room to the next.
Below are images of what we ate and yes, they were as good as they looked!

A little snack before our starter arrived. Marinated mixed olives and Flat bread or Focaccia with Hummous

Now for the starter: Lobster Thermidor with horseradish crumb & new potatoe, Halloumi & Quinoa salad with roasted pepper, cranberries, all-spice & lemon, and Brixham white crab arancini with vanilla & lime mayonnaise. Yum!

Yes, we also had sides of fries and parmesan salad {who said fashion people don’t eat?}

Main 1 – Steak Frites with béarnaise & chips

Main 2 – The day’s special of Haddock

Main 3 – Bronze turkey breast with chestnut purée, buttered kale & a potato fondant

And for dessert, we went for something fresh: 3 scoops of fruit sorbet

And of course Macaroons: Vanilla, chocolate and raspberry

The lovely interior of Bond & Brook

It was such an amazing lunch session with my girls and delicious food. Make sure you pop by the next time you find yourself roaming around Bond Street. Thank you Bond & Brook!
